The state government is contemplating to introduce English medium in Tribal welfare schools, said Minister Satyavathi Rathod.
There is a proposal to begin English medium education in 326 Tribal welfare primary schools. Plans are also to convert 432 schools into English medium schools.
The Minister said there are about 1.28 lakh students pursuing education in Tribal welfare schools. There are also plans to upgrade some schools and train the teachers. The students who are appearing for national level tests such as NEET, JEE will benefit from the initiatives taken by the Telangana government, she said.
