Hyderabad: To make its voice heard at national capital- Delhi, the TJAC on Saturday embarked on a special trip christened “Sansad Yatra”. Over 3,000 Telangana protagonists boarded the Delhi bound special train at Secunderabad Railway Station at 4 pm. The Sansad Yatra would culminate in a two-day (Monday and Tuesday) “Telangana Satyagraha” at Jantar Mantar to press for the separate statehood demand. The yatra aims at demanding the Centre to introduce Telangana Bill in Parliament in the current session.

Besides TJAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram other leaders like Srinivas Goud, Devi Prasad, Vittal and leaders of Political, Teacher, Employees, Labour and other JACs and a medical team consisting of 20 doctors and 10 nurses from Gandhi Hospital were part of the Sansad Yatra.
As the special train began moving at 4 pm, Secunderabad Railway Station echoed with “Jai Telangana” slogans for some time. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, BJP national president Rajnath Singh, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Union Minister Ajit Singh, CPI national leaders Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, AB Bardhan and leaders of BSP, RLD, NCP are expected to participate.
