There is no harassment, corruption, or red-tapism in Telangana. The only aim is to attract investments and create jobs for youth, said IT Minister Mr KTR.
Presenting awards at the FTCCI conference, the minister gave excellence awards to the best companies.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said even in Gujarat state, they announced a power holiday but whereas in Telangana, the government is offering quality uninterrupted round-the-clock power supply. Not a single unit was closed on account of power shortage even in a crisis time such as a lockdown period.
The Telangana state has created a world-class infrastructure that is industry-friendly and hence more companies are evincing interest in investing in Telangana state.
Allaying fears that if the separate Telangana is formed, the state emerged as number one in IT and other sectors within just eight years under the able leadership of chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said.
Telangana joined the high-ranked old states like Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra in all aspects.
Now Telangana is known all over the world for its rapid progress in various sectors, development, and welfare. Now the state has its own identity across the globe, Mr KTR pointed out.
The IT minister said the Telangana state has achieved a revolution in five sectors – Blue, Green, Pink, White, Yellow – the fisheries, agriculture, oil seeds and dairy. Now the state is in a position to export them as well.
The stupendous Kaleswaram project envisaging bringing under cultivation nearly 45 lakh acres is helping the state to create reservoirs to store water of 164 TMC which will boost the agriculture and allied sectors, Mr KTR explained to the industrialists.
