Four power utilities in Telangana have initiated a major recruitment process for filling 1,422 vacancies of Assistant Engineers by issuing separate notifications here on Monday.
G. Jagadish Reddy, Minister for Energy, said the recruitment process would be completed by December-end and those selected could join duties from January 1, 2016. The recruitment tests would be conducted in November this year by JNTU-H.
In the process, 963 electrical, 194 civil, 70 electronics and 195 mechanical posts of assistant engineers would be filled through the recruitment process. The State has initiated the recruitment process to ease up burden on the existing engineers.
