Sri G. Kishan Reddy’s Telangana Poru Yatra entered into Warangal district on the fifteenth day. Before entering into the district, he met a group of weavers at Huzurabad. He was stunned to know the pathetic lives of the weavers and assured them of all possible help when BJP gets an opportunity at the Center or the state.
In Warangal district, he addressed the first meeting at Hasanparthi. He said that Manmohan Singh acts according to the tunes of Sonia Gandhi. She has a remote control and Manmohan Singh is just a face of that remote. It is unfortunate that the country got such a passive PM, he said. Sonia’s goal is only to make Rahul the PM and nothing else. For that sake, she is ready to do anything but she is not ready to see the sacrifices made by hundreds of Telangana people. Fake Gandhis are ruling the country and they do not have any feelings for real democracy or people’s aspirations, he said. Referring to the indictment of the Center by the Supreme Court on 2G scam, he said that the people would definitely teach the Congress a lesson in the upcoming polls.
Later he addressed a huge gathering at Parkal. Smrithi Irani, the All India Mahila Morcha President was also present at the meeting. Speaking on the occasion she said that the people of Telangana have been fighting for the separate state for many years now and the Congress Government has appointed the Pranab committee in 2004 to examine the issue. So far the committee has not given any report instead they have been appointing committees after committees without deciding on the issue, she said. She appealed to the students of Telangana to not commit suicides and hoped that they should live to see the bright Telanagna in the future. Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that the waters of SRSP are not reaching the intended beneficiaries on the district as the Government is not serious to get those waters.
All through the day, there were huge gatherings at many locations in the route where thousands of party workers and people gathered to greet him. At many places, he had to speak and also hoist the BJP flags. Meetings were held later at Bhupalapalli and Mulugu.
