Across 10 districts of Telangana, the arrangements for Telangana Formation Day celebrations are going on at a brisk pace. The preparations, which began about 10 days back, are now nearing completion.
A huge martyr’s memorial is being readied at Warangal city.
Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana is literally converted into a Pink City. Thousands of hoardings – big and small have sprang up across the length and breadth of the city.
Large cutouts, buntings, balloons are seen at every junction in the city.
Tank Bund, Necklace Road, Assembly building, Gun Park, Charminar, Secunderabad Clock Tower and several important buildings are decorated with colorful lights.
The celebrations would begin today evening itself. TJAC is planning to hold special programs at Gun Park.
TRS party would be kicking off the celebrations at Telangana Bhavan, and continue it at Necklace Road.
A Dhoom Dhaam would be held by Rasamai Balkishan on Tank Bund.

Special fireworks will light up the night sky from about 100 different locations in the city. These perfume-emitting fireworks are specially ordered from Mumbai.
GHMC is also making arrangements to provide refreshments and water at select place to people who attend these celebrations.

Special stages are being erected at 100 places in Hyderabad for song and dance programs.
CM designate KCR will offer special tributes at Gun Park at 7:30 AM and will proceed to Raj Bhavan for the oath taking ceremony.
At 10:40, KCR will reach the Secunderabad Parade Grounds and will attend the official Parade.
He will then drive the the state secretariate and take charge as the CM. This would be followed by the first Cabinet Meeting of the Telangana Government.
