Thirteen-year-old Telangana girl Poorna Malavath, who has become the youngest ever to scale the world’s tallest mountain, sent this image from the peak.
She was joined by a Nepali climber as she hoisted a poster with the word, ‘Telangana’ it has to be the highest ever tribute for India’s 29th state.
Poorna is from Nizamabad. The Everest team hoisted the Telangana flag on the summit on May 25, shortly after the record-breaking group put up the national flag.
