Telangana DGP visits agency districts.

The Telangana police continue their domination over Moist party naxals. In view of naxals calling for a week long martyrs celebrations, DGP Mr Mahender Reddy paid a low profile visit to Venkatapuram on Chattisgarh border near Bhadrachalam. He held a meeting with three SPs -Kothagudem, Mulugu and Khammam and other senior officers. He instructed them to see that people living in habitations abutting river Godavari and chattisgarh border do not celebrate Maoist martyrs week. The DGP surprise visit was also aimed at boosting morale of police posted in harsh conditions in forest tracts along the Chattisgarh border.
