After chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Seemandhra TDP leaders and a TRS delegation, now it is the turn of Telangana Congress leaders to knock on the door of President Pranab Mukherjee to plead with him to ensure that the T-Bill is returned to him at the earliest so as to table it in Parliament during a special session in the first week of February.
A delegation of T-Congress leaders headed by panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy is all set to call on the President at Rashtrapati Nilayam at Bollaram here on Tuesday and is expected to urge him not to extend the time given to the Assembly to express its views on the T-Bill.
They are also likely to plead with him to ensure that the Speaker and the Council Chairman take the views of members in writing on the Bill if a debate could not be held even after Jan 3 when the two Houses reassemble after Christmas/New Year recess.
