Several senior leaders of BJP in Karimnagar district held a meeting and expressed their dissent with party state president Bandi Sanjay.
They accused him of imagining himself more than his life-size by ignoring the seniors in the party.
They said they have faced naxals and rough times to save the party and now they are ignored. Those who are joining from other parties in the name of self-respect are being accorded a warm welcome and importance in the party.
The BJP seniors pledged to bring together like-minded leaders within the party from all districts. They plan to chalk out a programme to end a one-man show in the party.
They said they are unhappy with the functioning of Mr Bandi Sanjay and they are planning to ventilate their grievances with the party leadership in New Delhi else they plan to have their own ways even distancing from the party.
Mr Bandi Sanjay is totally engaged in spewing venom at the ruling TRS party and its leaders even resorting to character assassination.
The BJP leaders instead of focusing on problems facing the people and playing a constructive role as the opposition party are concentrating more on dividing people on silly issues such as the renaming of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar and unreasonable criticism of state government initiatives.
The BJP in Telangana seems to be going the way it is going in Uttar Pradesh with many leaders deserting it despite its clout in the country.
