A student from Seemandhra named Tyagaraju attacked Kiran, a Telangana student pursuing MSc Nano Science from JNTU Hyderabad yesterday.
The incident happend when JNTU Telangana Student JAC members were protesting the delay in state formation at the main gate of JNTU,
Tyagaraju, who hails from Kadapa, abused Kiran for raising Telangana slogans and attacked him with a stick and beat him indiscriminately. Few constables posted at the gate came to the rescue of Kiran and took Tyagaraju into custody.
All those Seemandhra friends who say they are not feeling safe in Hyderabad should now answer what led to this unprovoked attack.
It is time our leadership sends a strong message to Seemandhra leaders, that such attacks would lead to serious repurcussions
