Seemandhra conspiracy meeting faces severe protests

Dozens of pro-Telangana students were arrested by police here Thursday as they tried to disrupt the meeting of Seemandhra leaders at Ministers’ Quarters in Banjara Hills.

Tension prevailed since morning. Anticipating trouble, the police cordoned off the area, erected barricades and barbed-wire fence at vantage points. The media personnel were also barred from entering the premises to cover the meeting.
