Seemandhra leaders and activists have time and again tried to brand Telangana people’s movement as violent. But, the fact remains that the Telangana movement is a peaceful people’s movement. On the contrary, it is Seemandhra leadership, which is indulging in mindless violence in the name of a united state.
Here are glimpses from the Samaikyandhra bandh call given by Telugu Desam Party in Kadapa district on 21st July. While calling for bandh in one district is by itself very absurd, the TDP activists went berserk on that day and have shown what a ‘peaceful’ Samaikyandhra movement looks like. They have attacked the RTC Bus Stand and damaged furniture there. They even attacked the regional office of the Medical and Health Office.
What is appalling is that the TDP cadre attacked several shops and business establishments. They did not spare even poor auto drivers and vegetable vendors.
Shame on these goons for putting their own people to trouble in the name of a united state.
