The state government will disburse the Rythu Bandhu amount to farmers from June 28.
Chief minister Mr KCR has instructed the chief secretary Mr Somesh Kumar to make arrangements for the purpose to help farmers this rainy season input assistance from the state government for the farmers.
About 60 lakh farmers will get the financial benefit of Rs 5,000 per acre twice a year as part of Rythu Bandhu scheme.
It was one of the flagship programmes of the ruling TRS government which is not implemented anywhere in the country.
Following the decision to give Rythu Bandhu assistance from June 28, agriculture minister Mr S Niranjan Reddy thanked the chief minister.
He said that just now the agricultural operations began and the CM Mr KCR is kind enough to take the decision at the right time.
