Protests Mark Telangana ‘Betrayal Day’

Protests, rallies, and meetings were held across 10 districts of Telangana region against the 23rd December 2009 statement of central government, that has kept the Telangana statehood in abeyance.

The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee organized a rally in Hyderabad from Sundarayya Park to Dharna Chowk. Speaking at the protest rally, Prof. Kodandaram has reiterated that the future movement would target the Congress party and its elected representatives from the region. He criticized the TDP and Congress legislators from the Telangana region for staying mum during the recent no-trust motion in the state assembly.

Speaking at the rally, KTR said that if anyone assumes that the movement leadership is silent, then they should understand that the leadership is like a gun hanging on the wall and it would definitely fire when the need arises.
