Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said various governments ruling Andhra Pradesh before its division last year had offered fallow lands to SC and ST communities that cannot be used for agricultural activity.
“Previous governments assigned fallow lands with huge boulders to members of SC and ST communities which cannot be used for agriculture. Government will carry a survey on these lands and verify the status, location and feasibility for agriculture. We will extend maximum support to turn them into profitable agriculture land,” Rao said.
The chief minister participated in cleanliness programme under ‘Grama Jyothi’, the flagship programme of TRS government, at Erravalli village under his Gajwel Assembly constituency.
‘Grama Jyothi’ programme is aimed at planned and comprehensive development of villages.
“God will support every good work and definitely god will bless Telangana government for its unique welfare and developmental activities,” he said.
