Osmania University, where the Telangana Student JAC is planning to organize an indefinite fast, is like a volcano ready to burst any moment.
The state police dominated by Seemandhra police officers has unleashed a wave of terror on the student community in Telangana. Hundreds of students from Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Palamoor University, Satavahana University, Mahatma Gandhi University and Telangana University were taken into preventive custody.
City police commissioner has issued orders not to allow any one to enter the OU campus. 350 check posts have been set up around Hyderabad city and a total of 25,000 paramilitary and police personnel are posted in Hyderabad city alone. Police are checking all buses and trains bound to Hyderabad and are not allowing any student to travel to Hyderabad.

The Osmania Student Joint Action Committee leaders Pidamarthi Ravi, Bala Lakshmi, Punna Kailash Netha have condemned the brutal arrests of students and also vowed to launch their indefinite fast at any cost.
Meanwhile, Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram has warned that no force on this earth can stop the agitation of students.
