OU Students Boycott PG Exams

About 90% students of the Osmania University and affiliated colleges boycotted the PG exams which begun today. They tore halltickets and answer scripts at over 100 examination centers.

Exams boycott was reported from Osmania Arts College, Nizam college, Kothi Womens College and from several constituent colleges.

With less than 10% students taking these exams, OU authorities have hinted at total postponement of exams.

Yesterday, OU witnessed severe protests from students demanding postponement of PG exams. Police had to fire tear gas and rubber bullets at students.

If today’s incidents are any indication, it might well be said that Osmania University has once again become the center point of the ongoing statehood movement.
