The upcoming new ultra modern architectural landmark of the state capital, the new Secretariat building is nearing completion. It is one of the dream projects of Chief Minister KCR who wished it to be a pride of Telangana.
On Friday, the Roads & Buildings minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy spent about four hours inspecting the finishing works and interacting with the representatives of the executing agency. He went around inspecting the main entrance, landscaping area, imposing portico, internal roads, fountains, granite flooring, court yard among others.
The new secretariat building has been named after the father of the Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar. It would shortly be inaugurated by CM KCR.
The chief minister himself paid several visits during the construction interacting and instructing the engineers and architects explaining them about the requirements of officials and visitors to the state seat of administration. He wanted it to be possessing all the regality and spirit of Telangana.
The building is coming up beautifully with modern architecture and lake view. Once commissioned, it will be another feather in the cap of the grand old Hyderabad city.
