Minister KT Rama Rao took a dig at the Adani Group for taking refuge in the name of nationalism. Responding to Hindenburg Research’s investigative report on Adani Group’s alleged stock manipulation, the group said, “It was a calculated attack on India, its institutions and country’s growth story and its ambitions.”
Responding to the rebuttal, KTR said, “Obfuscation and taking refuge under the nationalist narrative is nothing but bringing more shame to the people of this great nation.”
KTR added that the media didn’t utter a word about the report, but are now publishing the rebuttals given by the Adani Group. “Amused to see the same media and journalists that couldn’t muster the courage to write a single line on Hindenburg Report going to great lengths to publish half-page stories on the rebuttals,” KTR said.
The investigative report has created a sensation in the country and reportedly the Adani Group lost lakhs of crores in rupees after the report was out in the public domain.
