Journalists who interviewed the ‘farmers’ whom Chandra Babu met during his Rythu Poru Yatra, were shocked to learn that most of these ‘farmers’ were actually fake and were posing in someone else’s farm.
TTDP leader and local MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao has cleverly scripted this stage drama. Apparently some flexi banners were strategically placed enroute Naidu’s padayatra so that the ‘farmers’ could be easily identified.

The first farmer whom Naidu met was Narra Venkatayya, but the groundnut field about which Naidu interacted with him belonged to another farmer named Kumar.

Another ‘farmer’, with whom Naidu talked to – Somli, hails from Palugula Thanda, but she was made to stand on a cotton field in Lakshmakkapalli.
A third ‘farmer’ Maisamma was a TDP ward member in Lakshmakkapalli.

Yet another ‘farmer’ Iddamma, was made to stand in local Congress leader Sankarayya Goud’s field and explain her problems to Naidu.
What is the point in conducting such a big tamaasha, if TDP supremo can’t even talk to a real farmer in his field?
