Taking strong objection to the allegations being levelled against her by BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind, the BRS senior leader and MLC K Kavitha warned him to hold his tongue. In a fierce counter, she challenged the BJP leader to come with proof of her taking a bribe within 24 hours else he should tender a public apology in Nizamabad.
Kavitha said her brother and father took the criticism in their stride for being in public life. But now the BJP leaders are targeting her husband who has nothing to do with the political field. “This kind of attitude is intolerable and we will not keep quiet anymore. I challenge that our BRS party will ensure the defeat of BJP MP Aravind wherever he contests in the next elections and teach him a lesson,” Mr Kavitha said.
She, along with MLA Bajireddy Govardhan and Bigala Ganesh, was interacting with the media person in Nizamabad on Friday. Lashing out at the BJP, the BRS leader said it was a shame on the part of the BJPBJP regime to maintain a stoic silence over the Manipur developments and growing unemployment in the country.
The Congress leaders are no different either. Mr Revanth Reddy who described Sonia Gandhi as a devil and even criticised the deceased former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy is now eulogising the same party. “Can Revanth Reddy tell if the three-hour power is enough for industries as well? The farmers are mocking his ignorance,” she pointed out. The Congress leaders are in utter confusion and are putting up a false posture to defeat the ruling BRS that enjoys massive public patronage, she added.
