Minister KTR pooh-poohs the centre for its apathy

An ultra-modern 24-floor multi-speciality hospital building is coming up at Warangal. It is expected to cater to people of surrounding districts and they need not take trouble travelling to the state capital for any emergency care risking their lives.

The chief minister KCR laid the foundation a few months ago and is nearing completion. Minister KTR was elated at the upcoming modern facility at Warangal. Posting the pictures of the building under construction on Twitter, he pointed out that when the Telangana government is sparing no effort in strengthening the health sector, the central government remained a mute spectator.

It did not contribute a single rupee to the excellent institution coming up in Warangal. Mr KTR also said the state government had set up 16 trauma centres along the Outer Ring Road where road accidents are reported frequently.

With a view to help the victims, the government came up with the initiative and it is yielding good results. To date, a total of 1,098 people were provided with medical care. Those in distress can call 14449 a toll-free number, the minister added.
