The Minister Mr KTR who gave a call to people to take part in mana ooru mana badi programme is now leading it himself.
The Minister during his recent USA tour also asked the NRIs hailing from Telangana to adopt their native village schools and improve them.
Today the Minister laid the foundation for a new government school building in memory of his grandmother Venkatamma, mother of his father at Konapur in Nizamabad district.
Sharing his joy he said nothing greater than taking part in a ceremony commemorating the memory of his grandmother.
It may be noted that the ruling TRS government has launched another flagship programme Mana Ooru Mana Badi envisaging phenomenal development of over 26,000 government schools – adding new buildings, toilets, labs, power supply and about 18 such facilities. The government gave a call to people to donate generously to involve people and promised to name classrooms and schools after them.
Leading the initiative by Telangana IT minister Mr KTR is noteworthy.
He became exemplary by following the adage teach not what you practice not.
Of Course, he is known for his good charity work beyond doubt but this is something to take note of.
