Two poor girls who excelled in studies and secured medical seats were clueless as they were unable to pay the fee for their studies. For them, the help came from an unexpected corner.
IT Minister Mr K T Rama Rao who is known for his helping nature came to know the plight of those girls. He immediately invited them to Pragathi Bhavan and gave them enough money.
One Avunuri Akhila’s father Prabhakar, is a farmer and mother a homemaker. The girl completed her Intermediate with an aggregate of 97.7% and was selected for MBBS Course in Mallareddy College for Women, Suraram.
Minister KTR learned about her situation through Twitter and promised and he delivered it today.
In another instance, Minister KTR financially helped Spandana, a student from Bhadradri Kothagudem District who secured 95.2% in her intermediate.
The girl got admission at TRR Medical College, Patancheru, for MBBS Course under A-Category.
Her parents are daily wage workers and could not afford to pay fees for her further studies. Mr KTR paid her the fee.
Mr Rama Rao wished both the girls the best of luck in their studies. The girls who received help from him thanked him and promised him to continue to excel in their studies.
