The middlemen will raise their ugly heads once again if the Congress party comes to power in Telangana state. They are stating that they would scrap the Dharani portal which helped reduce land disputes. The brokers and corrupt officials will once again harass the innocent farmers and middle-class people by tampering with the land records and resorting to land grabbing in the absence of Dharani, said Minister Harish Rao.
Adressing a public meeting on ‘Good Governance Day’ at Malkapur in Kondapur mandal of Sangareddy district on Friday, Harish Rao said those who opposed the separate statehood to Telangana are now praising the government that is doing extremely well.
The Congress leader Ladagapati Rajgopal has come in with all praise for the BRS government and its work in Telangana state. However, local Congress leaders are unable to digest the growing popularity among the people of CM KCR and his humane welfare schemes. Unlike in the Congress regime where the welfare schemes exclusively benefitted the party cadre, now in the BRS regime, every eligible beneficiary stands to benefit irrespective of his or her political affiliation, Mr Harish Rao.
Chief Minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao promised to upgrade the hamlets into Gram Panchayats and he delivered the promise by upgrading 2,500 hamlets. Now the residents of the habitation have the decision-making power while the state government allocates enough funds for roads and other infrastructure in all Gram Panchayats, he said.
