For the first time this is happening in the country. A state government on behalf of its farmers took up the issue to the country capital New Delhi. It was being led by none other than the chief minister Mr KCR himself.
All the states are keenly observing the developments and how Mr KCR can succeed.
The farmers’ leader Mr Rajendra Tikait came out openly in support of TRS demand. He said it is the responsibility of the centre to procure paddy.
Meanwhile the TRS party put up boards and flexibility banners at New Delhi that caught the attention of all. They were shared by many on social media.
If Mr KCR succeeds in making the BJP buy paddy from Telangana farmers, he will emerge as a top leader in the country. However BJP is strongly against TRS and is trying to gain power in the state in next elections. It’s also working with vengeance against those who opposing it.
It was the BJP leaders who instigated the farmers to grow paddy Bandi Sanjay and G Kishan Reddy. Now they are hiding somewhere and not opening their mouths. They said they will convince the central government to procure paddy but now they are nowhere to be seen.
Now the TRS protest in New Delhi will take the country’s politics to a new level. The BJP is sure to take a blow while it comes as a clear advantage to TRS as it gains sympathies of all farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and across the length and breadth of the country.
