Mana Vooru Mana MP programme inaugurated

Member of Parliament K. Kavitha appealed to the people to bring to her notice their problems and works to be done in their villages. Funds for developmental work would not be a problem, she said.

Participating in the inaugural of the three-day Mana Vooru Mana MP (Our Village, Our MP) programme at Binola of Navipet mandal on Friday, she criticised the persons who were elected MPs earlier but did not make efforts to solve problems persisting in the villages.

The programme was launched to learn the problems and aspirations of people, she added.

Accompanied by the local MLA Mohammed Shakeel, DCMS chairman Muzeeb and TRS district president E. Ganga Reddy, she went around the village meeting residents. Later, she held a praja darbar at the gram panchayat office and ascertained whether the poor, women, beedi workers and the physically-challenged were getting the benefits from the government.

Ms. Kavitha said that there were so many issues in the villages and the present Government was striving to solve them one by one.
