KTR’s Roadshow in Settlers Wards Turns out Impressive

With the poll campaign gathering tempo in Greater Hyderabad, IT minister KT Rama Rao conducted a roadshow on Saturday, which was received well even in localities where settlers from AP are residing.

The roadshow passed through Rayadurgam, Serilingampally and other areas. Supporters sporting pink kanduvas accorded a warm welcome to him.

“Give TRS a chance to develop the city. You gave an opportunity to BJP, TDP, Congress and MIM. But, there is no development. Give TRS a chance and witness rapid development,” KTR appealed to the people.

The minister toured the city in a mini van decorated as Ratham.

“When the Telangana movement was at its peak, some alleged that the settlers will be chased away from Hyderabad and there will be no security for AP people in Hyderabad. But, TRS leaders did not even scratch settlers. Settlers are safe here. We have proved critics wrong,” KTR claimed.

The bifurcation of united AP will help TS and AP develop simultaneously, claimed Rama Rao. “Gannavaram airport got international airport status and AP got AIIMS and other national institutions. If the state was not divided, AP could not have witnessed such a development in the next 25 years,” he pointed out.
