KTR submits ITIR project report to Bandaru in person

IT minister KT Rama Rao met Union minister of state for labour and employment Bandaru Dattatreya on Tuesday here to present a detailed project report (DPR) of Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR), as a response to latter’s comments that Telangana government did not submit project report for ITIR till date.

“I had earlier remarked that though ITIR had been sanctioned to Hyderabad, till now funds have not been released and Union IT ministry do not have clarity on ITIR. Though Telangana government presented project report on ITIR twice, Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya commented that we did not submit DPR. Probably he might have been misguided by officials. To put things straight and make facts clear, I have personally met him, informed him and also presented DPR of ITIR once again,” KT Rama Rao said after meeting Dattatreya.

“We do not believe in criticising for the sake of criticising. We are only highlighting the shortcomings of the Centre. But our motive is to work in coordination with Central government,” he further said.

After discussing ITIR and other issues, Rama Rao and Dattatreya addressed a joint press conference.
