Minister KTR has said that Telangana has given Rs. 3.7 lakh crores to the centre but in turn, it got only Rs. 1.7 lakh crores. The central government owes Rs. 2 lakh crores to the Telangana state.
The minister said in the last eight years, the Telangana state gave Rs. 3.8 lakh crores by way of taxes and the state got Rs. 1.68 lakh crores. If the BJP at the centre proves this wrong, he would resign as minister.
Does union minister G Kishan Reddy have the guts to accept his challenge and give up post, KTR said. He said the centre diverted Rs. 2 lakh crores to BJP-ruled states of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
KCR is the only leader who gave assistance of Rs. 65,000 crores to 66 lakh farmers through Rythu Bandhu. He also gave assistance to 11 lakh girls through Kalya Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak.
The minister visited Huzurnagar and said the state government spent Rs. 3,500 crores for the development of the constituency in the last three years. Energy minister G Jagadish Reddy and others were present.
