Kiran quits; state heading for President rule?

CM Kiran Reddy, who has long been trying to become a champion of anti-Telangana agitation, has finally decided to hang up his boots.

After a lot of false alarms, and deliberate leaks, Kiran Reddy has resigned from the Chief Minister post a short while ago.

Addressing the media, Kiran parroted out the same old reasons for opposing Telangana. His close aides say that Kiran Reddy may float a new party in the residual Andhra Pradesh state.

Meanwhile sources in Delhi indicate that the state of Andhra Pradesh would be placed under President rule for a short while until the elections are held.
