KCR-TRS supporters Meet and Greet in London

The KTSUK- KCR TRS supporters of UK, hosted a ‘Meet and Greet with the chief guests who came to UK from Telangana State to take part in this great TeNF Bathukamma jathara were Konda Surekha (TRS MLA), Konda Murali Rao (TRS MLC), T. Prakash Goud (TRS MLC), Gundavarapu Deviprasad (Chairmen of Telangana Breweries Corporation) were chief guest from ruling party TRS.

Core committee head Nagesh Reddy hosted the event starting with A video highlighting the different various work related to charity and handloom wavers from past one year by KTSUK team.

KTSUK founder Ceeka Chandra Shaker said on this occasion regarding welfare schemes such as Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, financial assistance to the farmers and others and appealed to the Telangana NRI’s to propagate these schemes on social platforms.

Speaking at the meet, Sri Devi Prasad Garu praised the different works by the KTSUK. He said the Telangana Rashtra Samithi was outcome of the aspirations of people of Telangana and it now has become the party of people, So he requested all NRI’s to work together for the welfare of the new state, Highlighting the advancement activities taken up by the TRS government in the previous years, he said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was endeavouring hard to meet the desires of individuals of Telangana. “The State government has propelled a few inventive projects to create Telangana on all fronts. Telangana is making quick walks under the capable administration of CM Chandrashekar Rao,” he said. Emphasizing the TRS government’s dedication to accomplish ‘Bangaru Telangana’, he also
said the State would think of NRI approach soon and welcomed recommendations from NRIs living in various parts of the world.

Another Cheif guest T. Prakash Goud said that Stating that a series of initiatives of the State government to help weavers to save them from upheavals in the market, waiver of individual loans of handloom workers, development of design and brand promotion.

Konda Surekha said on this occasion that she hails from handloom wavers family and she knows the hard work in this profession and praised the NRI’s work in promoting Telangana Handlooms by setting up handloom stall ‘Chenetha Vastralayam’ in all local community events like Women’s day, Ugadi, Bonalu and doing their part in introducing handlooms to NRI people and also educating them by explaining the importance of handlooms and urging them to save the handloom weavers.

Konda Murali -TRS MLC said that Our weavers of Pochampally, Gadwal, Narayanpet and Siricilla were once known across the country for their skill and quality of handloom clothes. They are all now in distress. Let us all bring back glory to their produce and popularise our culture. He said govt launched a scheme called “Chenetha Lakshmi” under which a member would get handloom fabric worth Rs.14,400 if he pays a membership fee of Rs. 1,000 per month for nine months.

Later, KTSUK team honoured all the chief guest grandly. Core team Bhasker Motta, Prashanth Katikaneni, Sridhar Neela, Venu Reddy, Rajesh Enabotula, Ravi Kura, Bhasker Pittla, Sashi Koppula, Women Wing Nandini Motta, Varsha, Rajitha Eastham worked hard for program success and TDF UK team Ram Chepyala, Goud Bai and Srinivas Reddy, Kishore Kumar Munaganti were part of the event.
