Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will participate in the Shramdan programme in his adopted Chinnamulkanoor village of Chigirumamidi mandal on Monday.
The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programme. District Collector Neetu Prasad has constituted teams of district officers for each gram panchayat ward and has made arrangements for removal of garbage and debris as part of the programme.
The authorities conducted house-to-house survey to identify people who do not have houses in the villages and are preparing a master plan in this regard. They have identified 85 old mud houses of which 15 house owners have agreed for demolition.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister will inaugurate his model of two-bedroom house. He would also tour each and every ward and participate in the plantation of saplings and later take part in community lunch. He is scheduled to participate in Grama Sabha in the village as part of Grama Jyothi programme.
Meanwhile, the district police machinery is playing a key role in the Shramdan programme. They have adopted the village tank and have decided to remove all the shrubs and plants in the tank and strengthen its bund.
