KCR Praises Vaisyas to Skies, Says The Community Knows Art of Life

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said he would have been a ‘crorepati’ had he read ‘Margdarsi,’ a book written by Sripada Subrahmanya Shastri, in which the author had explained how to lead life and be successful.

“The author says the art of living can be learnt from Vaisya community. The community is pathfinder of entire society. They know the art of life,” KCR said on Thursday at the 5,138th Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti celebrations. KCR was chief guest at the celebrations organised by the All-India Vaish Federation and Agarwal Samaj. Maharaja Agrasen is a legendary king of Agroha, a city of traders.

On the occasion, KCR said the community members consider Hyderabad as their motherland and participated in Telangana agitation. Stating they will unveil an industry policy which will actualise the dream of making Telangana the best business State in the world, KCR said: “When I was addressing a business meeting in Singapore, people from throughout the world said that everybody will rush to Hyderabad even if 50 per cent of the policy is implemented”.

Delivering the inaugural speech, Gireesh Kumar Sanghi, national president, All-India Vaish Federation, assured support of the community in all endeavours of KCR. Pointing out there is no social security for trade and industry community, he suggested that Telangana can be the first State to announce social security.

Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
