Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, is leaving for a week-long tour to China on September 7.
Rao besides attending the World Economic Forum meeting, will also tour some places in China to study the economy and industrial development there. He is also likely to meet economists, visit some industrial areas and meet locals to know China’s success in agriculture and industrial sectors.
“The chief minister will study the mixed economy in China. This will help the government to provide jobs to youths in rural areas,” sources said.
Rao would discuss with electric manufacturers so that the state would get required equipment readily for the massive expansion plan of taking the total installed capacity of the state to 25,000 MW by 2018-19.
Meanwhile, IT minister KT Rama Rao declared that he would soon go to Japan to lure investments. Rama Rao said several industrialists from Japan were willing to invest in Telangana. Rama Rao’s Japan visit dates were yet to be finalised.
