KCR Congratulates Etela on a Balanced Budget

Congratulating Finance Minister E Rajender and his team for presenting the State’s first full-fledged Budget, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday said budgetary allocations give scope for implementation of promises made in the TRS election manifesto.

“Justice has been rendered to all sectors and adequate allocations made. The Finance Minister did a fine balance act,’’ KCR said, adding that the budget was prepared in such a way as to balance four vital sectors – welfare, agriculture, industries and infrastructure.

“Though the government has financial burden in the form of loan waiver, fee reimbursement, PRC to employees, Aasra pensions and increased salaries to Anganwadi workers, we have given enough importance to restoration of lakes, development of roads and Water Grid to ensure long-term development,’’ the CM said in a release.

Asking ministers and officials to work according to budgetary allocations for the proposed schemes to reach the people, he urged lawmakers to analyse the budget so that they can give valuable suggestions to the government.
