Member of Parliament Kalvakuntla Kavitha inaugurated the diesel mechanic workshop, Savitri Bai Phule memorial hall and a class room illuminated by solar energy at the Government ITI for Girls at Shivajinagar here on Monday.
She also went around the photo exhibition depicting the progress of trainees in different trades, electronics, beautician and steno branches and bags and other products manufactured by ITI students and trainees.
Appreciating the efforts of the ITI management in providing quality education with advanced equipment she said that students when pursue education with sincerity and commitment would succeed in life. She said she would extend her support to the ITI for further expansion and growth.
Ms. Kavitha also promised to set up mineral water plant under the aegis of the Telangana Jagruthi in the ITI premises in next two days. Responding to the memorandum submitted by the contract employees she said that the issue of regularising the services of contract employees was under the serious consideration of Government.
The ITI principal K. Ram Mohan Rao presided.
