Job Bonanza Begins for TS Youth With 770 Posts

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) kicked off the recruitment process in the State by issuing its first notification for filling up 770 civil engineering posts in five departments on Wednesday.

The government has accorded permission for filling up 3,783 technical posts. However, unemployed youth aspiring for Group I, II, III and IV among other non-technical posts will have to wait. The notification for non-technical Group-II posts is expected in October with the qualifying exam in either November or December. The syllabus for the exams will be uploaded on the TSPSC website by month-end.

The process of identification of various non-technical posts by the government is underway. The division of employees, which is yet to be completed by the Kamalnathan Committee, is said to be posing a hurdle.

Announcing the release of the first notification, TSPSC chairman Ghanta Chakrapani informed that recruitment to all technical posts would be conducted online at designated centres. Unlike change in the syllabus for the non-technical posts, there would be no change in the syllabus for technical posts, he added.

The TSPSC chairman further informed that a notification would be issued for the motor-vehicle inspectors and posts in agriculture and horticulture department in September.

“All engineering posts will be notified by the end of August, 2015,” he said.

As reported in these columns, the TSPSC has made One-Time Registration mandatory. Candidates can apply for the posts which they are qualified by creating their profile on TSPSC website. The TSPSC has decided to use biometric system in various stages of the recruitment process.
