Jamalapuram attracts tourists

An ancient Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in a pleasant locale has made it very popular among devotees and tourists at Jamalapuram in Khammam District of Telangana. Religious tourism is on the upswing with temple being maintained properly. The temple was renovated by Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya and is also popularly called Khammam Chinna Tirupathi. This place also has the historical Suchi Gutta where it is believed that Jabali Maharshi earned Lord Venkateswara’s blessings after penance.
