Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) said on Thursday it will work with the state government to achieve the goal of doubling IT exports from the present Rs 68,000 crore in next five years.
“HYSEA has been a key contributor to the government in formulating and enabling an ecosystem for the IT industry, since its inception 1991 and now we see a great opportunity for us to play a vital role in the ‘Digital India’ and ‘Startup India’ initiatives of Government of India, and in achieving the goal set by the government of Telangana to double IT exports within 5 years from current Rs 68,000 crore,” HYSEA President Ranga Pothula said in a statement.
After the first meeting of the newly constituted executive committee, Pothula said it is a right mix of leaders from small, medium and large IT and ITeS organisations to help synergise and work towards transforming the industry in Hyderabad into an innovation driven IT hub.
