The city-based Darwinbox, a HR tech company has turned Unicorn and plans to double its employee strength to 1,400 from the present 700 and proposes to recruit personnel in Hyderabad, Middle East, and the US.
The start-up nurtured in Hyderabad is expanding its operations and will cross its valuation by Rs 7,400 crore taking the total investment to Rs 814 crore.
The IT minister Mr K T Rama Rao in his Twitter message said “Yet another Unicorn from Hyderabad @thedarwinbox becomes a unicorn. Many congratulations@
IT and Industries secretary Mr Jayesh Ranjan said Darwinbox emerged as the first Hyderabad headquartered Unicorn.
The company offers HR solutions to over 650 global companies handling their recruitment, core transactions such as leaves, attendance, payroll, and travel among others.
