Union Home Minister Shri Sushilkumar Shinde today convened a meeting on Telengana issue with the leaders of eight different political parties of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy and two representatives from each of the political parties attended the meeting and expressed their views to examine the Union Home Minister.
The meeting was convened in a cordial atmosphere. The participants expressed the opinion that a decision should be taken by the Central Government at the earliest. Some suggested a period of one month as a time frame for a decision. Further, Home Minister stated in the Press Conference that a decision will be taken in a period of one month.
