The Telangana government announced the good news to the Asha workers. The TRS Govt decided to increase their monthly incentives. Orders have been issued increasing the intensive by 30 percent, including the existing ones.
The hike will apply to all Asha workers working under the state Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare and the National Health Mission (NHM). According to the latest directives issued by the government, the monthly incentives will be revised from Rs 7,500 to Rs 9,750 per month. The government has stated that the increased incentives will apply retrospectively from June 2021.
It may be noted that the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao increased their incentives twice in the past appreciating their work amid Covid pandemic in recognition of their dedicated services.
The Asha workers are overjoyed with the latest decision of Mr KCR who took the decision without any demand from them on his own. They thanked the chief minister for his kind gesture.
