Telangana has attracted yet another big investment. Further strengthening the city of Hyderabad as a global pharma hub, Gland Pharma has announced an investment of Rs. 400 crores in the Genome Valley.
The new facility will focus on biologicals, biosimilar, antibodies and recombinant insulin. The new investment has the potential to create employment for 500 local youth.
Welcoming the announcement, minister KT Rama Rao said, “This facility truly demonstrates the strength of life sciences ecosystem in Hyderabad and Genome Valley.”
The announcement was made after minister KTR’s meeting with Srinivas Sadu, the MD and CEO of Gland Pharma.
