The Kamareddy district collector Jitesh Patil has asked the farmers not to panic. Industrial Zone doesn’t mean land acquisition, he clarified.
He was referring to the farmer protest and violent incidents recently. He said that it was only a draft master plan and there are a lot of procedures. The farmers can lodge their objections till 5 pm on January 11.
The administration gave 60 days for farmers to give their opinion on proposals, and 1,026 farmers have already submitted their objections. The collector asked farmers not to panic and be misguided by rumours.
