Exit Polls conducted by various National Media channels predicted that TRS would emerge as the leading player in Telangana state.
The Congress, which is dreaming of coming into power in the new state, would be relegated to a distant second position according to these polls.
The IBN-Lokniti CSDS National Election Tracker exit poll survey, gave Telangana Rashtra Samiti 8-12 seats. The Congress is expected to win 3-5 seats. The BJP-TDP alliance would end up with only 2-4 seats.
The Times Now-ORG survey predicted that the TRS is expected to win 9 of the 17 MP seats in the new state.
India Today Exit Poll revealed that TRS is poised to emerge as the leading party in Telangana with 10-14 MP seats.
These Exit Polls make it amply clear that TRS would also achieve the required majority of 60 MLAs to form the first government in Telangana state.
