Informing about this CPI state secretary K. Narayana said that the party’s campaign is aimed at proving the point that the demand for Telangana had not lost steam but has in fact, intensified further.
This crucial decision was taken at the three-day party State council meeting that concluded on Tuesday. The party intends to hold various protests in 10 districts of the region starting on August 21st.
The party State council also discussed about the programmes that should be taken up on September 17, coinciding with the liberation of Hyderabad State, and demanded that the government organise the event officially just like Karnataka and Maharashtra states.
