News emanating from New Delhi indicate that CM Kiran would be shunted out soon. The Congress party high command has come to a conclusion that they cannot bear his nuisance any longer.
CM Kiran’s recent letter to President Pranab Mukherjee seems to have seriously annoyed the Congress bosses. The party leadership, which has already succeeded in weaning away a lot of CM’s followers in state cabinet, has now stepped up efforts to further isolate him.
Kondru Murali and P Balaraju, who were supposed to be in CM’s camp, are now openly supporting the party high command’s decision. Already 12 Seemandhra ministers and several MLAs are now toying the Congress party high command’s line on Telangana formation. Efforts are on to ensure no Congress leader worth his salt is beside CM Kiran.
Party in-charge Digvijaya Singh is personally coordinating efforts to find a replacement to Kiran Kumar Reddy.
On the other hand, sources close to CM also are putting up a defiant posture. They say Kiran is making all arrangements to launch his own party very soon.
