Minister for Tribal and Women and Child Welfare Smt. Satyavathi Rathod said under the leadership of CM KCR , the largest tribal and adivasi fair in the state of Telangana is being held in the most glorious manner ever. Despite the budget problems due to the Corona crisis, giving Rs 75 crore to Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara-2022 through GO No. 195 is a testament to CM KCR’s love for tribals, adivasis, their customs, festivals and fairs.
Chief Minister KCR said that festivals of all communities in Telangana are being held in the most glorious manner.
Last year too, the Telangana government was credited with allocating Rs 75 crore and Rs 100 crore earlier for the Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara and providing all kinds of facilities to the devotees coming there. Arrangements have already been made for the devotees in Medaram with several permanent structures and temporary structures. 2.24 crore a week for the fair, which will be held from February 16 to 19 next year. The rest of the facilities are also scheduled to be completed by December.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister KCR, all facilities are being provided to make the fair plastic-free.
